The Idea Spindle

Post-Script: This reminds me of the so-called "Hipster PDA" concept, in more general terms that of repurposing office supply materials for other uses. I suppose the act of typecasting also falls within this genre. This seems to imply that, rather than falling into obsolescence, these more traditional materials and methods get re-purposed, or "hacked".

Which reminds me of when I was but a wee lad, and I tore (hacked?) open a cheap toy metal car, only to find the insides still bore the Budweiser beer can logo. This was before aluminum recycling, when instead cans would be shipped to Japan to be re-purposed into other consumer products. Typecast via Olympus SM9, photo via Lumix G5.

That's great Joe. Left to mature long enough and the ideas really could become like geological strata. Unlike a note book, it is never closed up. Always out in the open. Interesting...
