Enjoy them while you can, I say. Eventually they'll all die to ribbon unavailability and capacitor rot. Who knows, though? Maybe someone will start manufacturing cloth ribbon cartridges for these things and I know you can swap capacitors if you had to. Still, I imagine the sheer variety of cartridge designs would make modern manufacture unfeasible. You can sell a lotta spool ribbons to people, and they're easy to load, not so much the wide variety of cartridge ribbons. That's planned obsolescence right there in a nutshell. /:
