Autumn Leaf-Cast
My wife, during a recent morning walk, found several large leafs, semi-dried, that had fallen from the neighbor's trees. She brought them home for me to compose upon but, sandwiched under a pile of catalogs, had been erroneously discarded into the recycle bin in the garage. This evening I fished them out, and this one leaf was still soft enough to thread up through my Underwood Universal without incurring too much damage.
While the rest of the type-o-sphere are busy composing their Great American Novels, I present this humble poem for your pleasure.
Happy Autumn!
~Joe
