I was too lazy to scan the typed piece via desktop PC thingie, so shot it with the Lumix G5 handheld at ISO3200 and did all the post-processing in iPad2.
No, this isn't a serious attempt at profundity, merely doing my part to take up the slack whilst those of you more serious writers are wrestling with the Rhino. Good luck, how's everyone's novels coming along?

I've tried four times to send this comment, but don't get the usual acknowledgement that it will be posted after you've read it. Sometimes Captcha gives me fits! So we'll see if my earlier comment goes through...
Joe, I saved the earlier comment and I'll try posting it again:
Joe, I hope you're feeling better!
Thanks for asking about NaNo.
The writing is going well, but more slowly and deliberately than last year's NaNo, which was my first time. This year, I am interviewing my partner James about his very interesting life & Southern Gothic family, on a small, battery-operated cassette recorder, then transcribe his words via typewriters.
Listening to someone's words, writing them down, pressing the Rewind and Play buttons endlessly -- provides a very interesting pace.
Fortunately, James' spoken words read excellently on the page -- validating the theory that if writing SOUNDS good when reading it out loud, chances are it *IS* good.
I am very excited about this project and hope that I can get this mess published someday.
Thanks for the comment, sorry about the issues with captcha.
I have a long time interest in micro cassette recorders, I must do a blog article about them one of these days.
I've recovered from my illness, it's amazing what missing a day from work will do for you!
Hope your Nano project is going good.
