The Phone Man

Typecast155

Post-Script: There's much more to be said on this subject, I'm certain, as the situation continues to evolve. I'm continuing to like the green engineers paper as a typecasting substrate. Typecast via Remington Ten Forty. I had to fiddle with the left ribbon spool take-up mechanism, I did a little repositioning where the actuation rod engages a lever underneath, and it takes up more reliably. I was typing on the back porch atop a lap desk, and probably due to the position I had some skipping on the left side of the carriage. There's also a bit of slippage near the bottom of the page. Such is life with old typewriters, there's always something to adjust. Photo via Lumix G5.
