Visitors From Another World
Post-Script: I was always interested in UFOs as a kid, but grew up with more of an interest in UFOs as social phenomenon, the True Believers being much more interesting of a species than the aliens they purport to have faith in. While I personally doubt they're craft from other worlds, their belief seems to function as a demi-religion for the otherwise curious atheist, serving to deflect the question of life's origins onto another planet.
It's interesting, with the advent of digital photography, that pictures of UFOs have lost their veracity, since anything can be easily faked. The two photos posted herein were made by my brother and I in the early 1970s in Albuquerque, using a 110 film camera. I'll leave it up to the reader to decide their authenticity.

I saw an interview with Russell Brand not too long ago... he had gone scuba diving for the first time & when he came up his thoughts were similar to yours - after the peace, calm and quiet of the depths returning to the surface made him aware of of what a mess we all are up here most of the time.
