Rio Grande Valley Visit

Post-Script: It was nice to take the Rocket for a ride. I've also decided to use the Rocket mainly as a portable take-anywhere machine, and have taken the Olympia SM-9 out of storage, replaced the ribbon, and have it sitting on my desk as the office machine.

On first seeing your photo of the Rio Grande Valley I realized the eye relief that place would provide from the surrounding desert views, lovely as they are. Regarding public typing, mine has been restricted to camp site picnic tables during our RV outings. This has proven to be a good separation from other - close enough to others to often elicit pleasant comments and conversations like the one you had, but not so close as to be an irritant.
