Notes From the Road
Post-Script: I had been collecting these observations all during our three-week long road trip, using the Notes app on the iPad. I also have a list of more potential subject matter for future blog articles, related to travel.

That's a great list Joe.
I especially can relate to the typewriter. On one of my trips to PA I had a new to me Underwood shipped to my parents so I had one to use at my destination, PA. Well it arrived in fine shape except for a few repairs I needed to make. At home it would have been quick work. Substitute tools made it a burden and I had a partly working typewriter. Since then it is a Skyriter, Baby, or Montana.
Excellent advice for travel *and* just plain living. (:

I like this...it alone could be a good reason to travel...
