Heh, used to keep a couch outside when I had a covered back patio. When it got ratty, take it to the dump & replace it with another thrift store $5 couch. Back when console hifis were a glut in thrifts, I'd keep one of those outside too. I was always fond of the idea of a backyard living room.

The free furniture in my neighborhood doesn't look so appealing. I'm reminded of the Seinfeld episode where Elaine takes home a nice looking easy chair. She sits back to enjoy her find at home and feels something moving under the upholstery...

Plenty of curbside furniture here in Ka-zoo also. I even found a nice leather covered sectional out on my bicycle in the county.

Very nice video. Reminded me of typing class. All we used was newsprint. Back in the day it was plentiful. We used a light yellow newsprint at the radio stations to type local news stories. There was also plenty of off-white and yellow teletype paper. In a way I miss that for general typing. Longevity"? Well, I still have my high school typing (all on newsprint), and the paper has not really deteriorated much.

Oh, and Mrs. Smith (typing teacher) had a lesson on when to use what quality paper I remember almost as well as I do how our classes ended. "Now class, remember, remove any paper from the machines, center the carriages, and put the cover back on."

Little Free Couches ... now there's an idea.

That first set looks like it's straight out of Paisley Park.
