Go West, Old Man!

Post-Script: I realize that I've been using a lot of superlatives in describing the scenery in this part of the country. Though we do have some high country and a bit of forest in New Mexico, it's nothing to compare with more verdant regions. Still, I don't want to become jaded and think, ho-hum, just another pristine, tree-lined lake.
