Post-Script: Photos via Panasonic Lumix G7. I was also shooting video on my recently acquired Canon R800 camcorder. Yes, an actual camcorder. I'll be making a video about this soon. Here's the This is Not a VLOG video for today:

Typecast via Remington Quiet-Riter and roll of thermal fax paper.

Thanks for sharing your visit to the Ojito Wilderness. It looks like a nice place to go hiking. Nice video. Your typewriter looks like the Socialite I gave away at our recent Type-In.

Passed that very landmark on my own ABQ <-> Farmington run recently. Big Chief must have looked like an oasis back in the day, out on lonesome 550

Excellent post, Joe. And wonderful photos. I couldn’t agree more about that underlying hunger for a bit of adventure out on the road. I used to travel quite a bit for work and, difficult as some of those trips were, I miss them. If I were ever able to reach that mythical state called retirement, I’d love nothing more than to just get out on the road and explore...

Thanks, Bill. Yes, the typewriter is an early Olympia SF.
