Well put. It's disturbing that so many people now don't even seem to care about striving for truth as an ideal. At least I saw an encouraging sign at the Cincinnati march on Saturday: "Objective Truth Exists."
I suppose this raises the question of whether or not things were better when there were less sources of "news" or not. I mean to say that even up here in the Great White North we used to trust Walter Cronkite. Who can you believe today?
